Bidding Farewell to 2022
The year 2022 has been so cheerful, exploring new things, new places, new foods, new classes, and new friends.
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 5641, 5642.)
If we see practically we learn many lessons during our difficult times. So it is in our hands how we perceive the situation and how we react.
But in hard times, we don't remember these lessons. Why? Because we are not making the right choice in our good time, our connection with the Quran and with Allah is not in action.
Like Before and after namaz if we are not making the right choices, how can we be focused in Namaz and later in our life?
Covid, lockdown, and staying away from loved ones were breaking our nerves.
The toughest thing was losing loved ones. The pain, grief, and sorrow couldn't be depicted in words. We can only surrender to Allah's plan and follow the prophet Muhammad SAW's Sunnah by praying for them immensely.
"Every Cloud has a silver lining."
Naturally, we thought of a pandemic situation in very negative terms due to its emotional, socio-economic, environmental, political, and cultural factors. However, it had also a positive impact due to certain factors.
People were used to adapting to a pandemic situation. They learned about social distancing. Especially, how painful it was but useful within the family and the community. Hence, everyone was getting used to a common lifestyle, sharing and caring for others, especially elderly people.
Similarly, the government and organizations in the global context were reunited to face the pandemic situation. For example, the SARRC countries reunited over COVID-19 and set up financial allocations for sustaining poorer nations.
Medical systems improved. The general public developed respectful attitudes toward health workers, social workers, police, and armed forces who were involved in quarantined processes.
There were many discoveries and innovations in all affected sectors that helped to supply the chain of food, medical aid, and environmental's needs.
Domestic production and services to maintain local traditional lifestyles were embraced. People have adopted sustainable approaches to satisfy their need structure.
Some creative-minded people presented many effective and efficient ways and means of production, low-cost productions, and technological advancements.
Particularly, air, sound, and water pollution were reduced.
The decline in crimes such as drug addiction, alcoholism, gambling, prostitution, violence, and suicide was recorded.
Usages of the internet for sharing ideas, knowledge, news messages, etc. opened up more avenues to reduce the stress level of people.
Online classes made the Educational system less expensive, and easy to approach. Remote working developed trust among employees and employers.
Exploring and engaging online introduced me to the horizons of social media in the most productive way. It was not in my resolution wasn't my goal. It's Allah's plan.
With the resolution of using these skills constructively, Yes I'm ready to step into the year 2023 to lighten up the ambiance with positive vibes, good deeds, and sweet smiles.
